When your daughter was two, she only had time for pink and dollies. Now that’s she a bit older, she’s turned into a raging snow monster, shredding and ripping tricks like nobody’s business. You can’t protect her from the rough-and-tumble world of competitive snowboarding, but you can keep her warm and dry in the Columbia Girls’ Snowslope II Bib Pant. This insulated bib pant rises up in front and adjusts in back so your snow-breathing lady-dragon gets a perfect fitting pant, every time she puts them on. To keep water out, durable nylon HC 3000 is coated with OmniShield. This proprietary treatment helps the pant fabric shed moisture like your cat sheds in summer. Your young lady can ski or board through storms for non-stop freshies without requiring an outfit change at lunch. Slimtech synthetic insulation keeps her legs warm without adding bulk. She can flip off cliffs (gulp) with the best of ’em and not get hung up by overly poofy pants. The high-rise bib offers added weather protection for her body and reduces the chances of snow sneaking down her pants as she sticks the landing in an explosion of powder. Adjustable suspenders mean you’re bound for a fight; she’ll want her pants low like the boys, and you’ll want them to fit. Good luck with that one–sometimes it’s easier to count the little victories, like the fact that she’s actually wearing the pant. If she doesn’t shoot up more than two inches over the summer, the grow cuff might let you get another season’s worth of wear out of this pant. Again, good luck.
